Mehhhh. CP. Its not hard to fix, but if racing is in order I'd rather spend 6,500 into an E30 or similar size build.

If racing was not the goal, I'd be 50/50. Once again, repairs don't look major, but structural damage may bite you in the ass.

Thank you for the input! Wasn't seriously considering it. Just yesterday put an offer in on a white 5-speed '87 325is Coupe with complete maintenance and owner history. Pretty rare these days I think.

JEALOUS! I want an older E30 or similar BMW pretty bad. Saw an S50-swapped E30 a few years back, and have wanted one ever since.

Haha yeah, a proper E30 coupe has been on my list for some time now. It'll be my 3rd E30, but the previous have been convertibles. This one needs the least amount of work too. Pretty stoked!

PS here's a clip of me chasing an E30 with the engine swap in a 135iM. Keep watching for the 2nd gear clutch dump burnout!

That thing sounds awesome! Something about N/A BMWs just work. Not that they're bad boosted or anything either lol.
